Continuous Play is a luscious, sunkissed progression from downbeats to trance, with a warm, organic edge, reflecting the nature of the environment in which it was created. While Gypsy and Galia are Ibiza style sunset anthems, and Seventh Step and Isha are more dubby, Age Old Sol and Ru Ru display Max's trancefloor sensibilities. The overall feel, as Max puts it, is "an uplifting vibe with an element of soul".

He collaborated with legendary New Zealand folk singers, the Gypsy Pickers, on 3 of the tracks and Jules Evans of the Underwolves (Compost Records) on Seen U Somewhere.
